New patient guide
Starting something new can feel uncertain. Here's everything you need to know so you can walk in feeling prepared and at ease.

Call us at 210-742-1480. You don't need a doctor's prescription to get started. We'll find a time that works for you and answer any questions about insurance or copays.
Our office will send you a link to fill out your forms from home. It saves time on the day of your visit — but if you'd rather fill them out in person, that's fine too.
You'll meet one-on-one with your physical therapist. They'll talk with you about your symptoms and goals, then do some gentle physical tests based on your concerns. Many patients also receive hands-on treatment and start a simple home exercise program that very first day.
Your therapist will explain what they found in plain language and recommend a plan. Most patients come 1 to 3 times a week for 4 to 8 weeks, with follow-up visits lasting 45 minutes to an hour.
